In this workshop you'll learn the basics of mixed media and apply new found skills toward your personal mixed media Kintsugi creation. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery back together with gold seams. The belief is that the pot is more beautiful than it originally was. I have taken this concept and applied it to mixed media. The healing power of embracing our imperfections and seeing how our brokenness makes us more beautiful will be the focus of our art.
What: A finished piece of art that is uniquely you! I will guide you step by step as you ponder how a simple art piece can help you to become more whole. You'll learn color theory basics, mixed media tricks and be supported each step of the way as you create.
Who: The Curious and Beginners are welcome!! If you'd like to try art journaling and dive into your latent creative desires, this course will move you ahead on your path. As always, I'll be available for more coaching if your awareness is sparked and you want to explore more areas of your life.

I loved working with you. Your creativity, compassion, and great ideas made it a lovely class. - Emily
If you are thinking about joining Art & Insight, do not let your brain talk you out of it... just commit and do this for your Soul! The time I spent with Andi allowed me to rest my overwhelmed work-brain and access my creative self, in a safe environment where all questions were accepted and met with compassion and an artist's expertise. Andi is a wise, worldly warrior who is an artist, coach, and a faithful guide. She embodies delight as she connects with the cohort and brings us to our own inner artist. She is a warm and skillful coach, and this element of the program was a gentle nudge for me to consciously bring creativity back into my life. It was an invitation to understand that "Art is a means to drop down into the soul".
Since the session, I have created a dedicated space for art, and I continue to experiment and practice,
which has become a fundamental element of my own self-care. -Lisa
I loved participating Art & Insight. A wonderful collective of women gathered virtually to explore our creative sides under Andi’s delightful and expert guidance. The experience helped me in my efforts to let go of the need for perfection. To play and experiment more … to see what “works” and what doesn’t … to try new mediums and tools. While officially we were exploring the world of art, the creative insights I gained were transferable to many aspects of my life.
My new battle cry? More “running the experiment” and less “striving for perfect action! - Jenny
